Our program is dedicated to providing valuable, practical training opportunities for surgical trainees in the region. The training days offer a unique experience to learn from experienced professionals in the field, gain insights into various surgical techniques and procedures across your curriculum, in a safe environment.

Signing up for the South West CST training days is easy and hassle-free. Simply navigate to our website and follow the instructions to secure your spot for each day. By joining us, you will not only expand your knowledge but also have the chance to network with fellow trainees and professionals in the field.

Please ensure you request study leave for each day! Whilst we do make an effort to contact all rota co-ordinators across the region, roles and contact details change. Despite the warning, you will still need to complete the necessary study forms. You are not expected to attend when on call, but may need to arrange swaps to reach required attendance. Ultimately, you are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate leave.

We cover a wide geographic area and try to ensure central locations are used for courses. Occasionally, the needs of the course or faculty dictate a less central location, but we would hope you recognise the value of the training to be worth the journey.
